This calligraphy of Prajnaparamita pays homage to the perfection of wisdom. It is an invocation, wishing that insight might be awakened in our heart.

Prajnaparamita, the wisdom (prajna) that has reached (ita) the other shore (param) is the wisdom that leads to complete awakening.
The Japanese rendering of prajnaparamita is hannyaharamitta.
In this calligraphy the 6 kanji HAN NYA HA RA MIT TA have become autonomous figures with an expressive vividness recalling the true freedom.
